Is sugar the problem?

Do not use added sugar. Everything else is fine. I would not worry about weight loss for the first three months. One important question is how tall are you and how much do you weigh. In order to lose weight you have to eat less or exercise more. I would only eat 2 servings of fruit. and at least 3 servings of vegetables. Make sure your potato is tiny, 4 ounces or less.
