Snowboarding box (trex)?

im building a snowboard box, and i know that i don't have enough money to get HDPE and i know this is a cheep alternative, but every time i search trex online, it always comes up with the company.I was just wondering if that wood flooring is that material that ppl are talking about. I saw on their website that polyethelane is over 95% and i know HDPE stands for like somin somin polyethelane. So please tell me if that is what im looking for for my snowboard box. because im so lost right now and i thought it would look white and plasticy. thanks
