How do I show a balanced chemical equation of the production of 1, 2-Dichloroethane?
How do I show a balanced chemical equation of the production of 1, 2-Dichloroethane? I know it is a reaction between iron(III) chloride (FeCl3) and chlorine (Cl2) and I know the catalyst is ethylene (C2H4). the chemical formula for 1, 2-Dichloroethane is C2H4Cl2.
